WHO WE ARE
Our mission is to provide higher value to the electronics manufacturing industry by providing support for new design and custom products, modifications to current designs as well as production support. This could include anything from custom tooling, test BoBs (interposer PCBs) and potting molds, to work instructions and redline incorporation.

FTS additionally offers production and sustaining support including design and documention of custom tooling, fixtures, test jigs, and potting mold design.
We work locally in southern California (Orange County) with an AS9100 certified machine shop. Our partnership including quick turn CNC maching of fabrication parts, platings and coatings, sheet metal fabrication, plastic castings and 3D printing capabilities.
Our team of experienced Electrical Engineers offer experience in custom power conversion modules, high speed data, FPGA/embedded communication and networking design, power distribution, cable harness design and RF. For any areas identified during risk managment, our team uses LT SPICE for circuit simulation and development boards for test code and evaulation.
In addition to cirucit simulation and SPICE tools to mitigate high risk areas, FTS uses industry accepted FEA tools for mechanical risk accessment and verification that the design can pass qualification. Our team has successfully designed around highly dense application including fan design, using CFD tools, custom heat spreaders and heat pipes to deliver a cooler, more reliable product. In addition, we offer vibrational fatigue analysis, FEA static analysis, Mechanical shock (1/2 sine and sawtooth) and Random Vibration analysis (Linear Dynamics).
FTS offers a full suite of mechanical design services including enclosure design to meet environmental and lifetime requirements, mechanical layout, custom component design, and documentation services including redline incorporation, drafting (ASME Y.14M) and Assembly drawing creation.
If you already have a schematic, great! We can help you idealize it with a PCB design/layout. Need a board updated or rerouted to change a connector type or change a component footprint due to obsolenance? We can help! Additionally, we have the capabilities to lay out our own custom designs as well, anything from a 10+ layer board to a simple 4 layout breakout board for debug.
